(Full Metal Alchemist for the uninitiated)
Its a fantastic anime, and they released a first set of trading figures in Japan a little while ago, and they are great looking (first pic). Scar (guy in yellow jacket on right, chase figure) looks a bit off, but the rest look insanely fantastic.
Then they announced that a second series is going to hit in October (second pic). These all look great. A shame theres no Al, but the rest of the figs more than make up for it. Lust? Envy? Hughes? And the Fuhrer (labeled King Bradley) looks badass. The secret figure intrigues me as well. From the sillouette, it looks like Ed, Al, and what I'm guessing would be Winry from when they were younger.
The first goes for around fifty bucks if youre lucky on ebay. The prices are ridiculous, becuase they are blind boxes, so harder to come by. I assumed the second would be fetching that much too.
Then, at SDCC, i saw BOTH sets on display! SO I knew they were being released here. So I emailed a couple places and asked if they would possibly sell sets, or keep them blind, and what release date we were looking at.
And the response I got was great.
1. They wont be blind boxes, they'll be blister carded. There will be no problems getting a set.
2. SRP 5.99. FUCK you eBay.
3. Release is set for November. My birthday. Parents cant complain about "wasting my money" on my birthday!
So, I just popped on over to eBay looking for some better pics, and here is what I found:
Series 1:

Series 2:

What I need are Full Metal PANIC figures.
Seems the only ones made were included with the DVDs in Japan and two in the "Dragon Magazine Heroines" trading figures or whatever they were called.
